Well, it had to happen... I have decided to give up smoking. I have not reached 24 hours yet, but all in all I think that I hate every single person that I meet.
Last year i did very well, i gave up 6 times by the end of the first week, then decided to give up giving up. I didn't want to be known as a quitter!
Why are you doing this? i hear you cry.
Well you are right that i am a miserable git when i am smoking, why make other peoples life worse by this. Well quite simply it is for the little cubs. This winter they have had cold after cold and it can't be helping that I smoke, with the door open constantly in the house and smelling like an ashtray.
It will be a welcome change for the cubs to see that daddy can get up the stairs without stopping or walk further than the car. Well in a few weeks/months, i've got to start small.
Time to have the 4th cup of tea of the day and shout at someone.

I find this blog post very ironic given that you're outside the building having a ciggie at the moment.
