Well, it's the end of day two at the new job. Day one started with snow and was a sign - not sure what of yet though. Hearst Digital seems like a very nice place to work, the people are nice and so far they haven't freaked me out or I them for that matter, which I have to take as a good sign.
The mountain of work ahead of me seems huge and the fact I need to hire a team of frontend and backend developers with PHP/MySQL skills within the next couple of months only adds to the urgency.
So i'm off home - still a hour and half commute - but with lots of documentation to read and try to get my head around.
