Tomas is a little boy who at ten months wants to follow his bigger brother about no matter what. In fact for the last 2 months that he has been trying to walk/run/jump on Oskar, he has spent his time either trying to get there in time or getting upset that he cannot do it yet.
Tomas is also interested in EVERYTHING that is going on. Cooking and cleaning being right up there after following Oskar about. The problem for both Linda and I is that it starts to hurt your arms and back carrying Tomas around all the time. But we found a solution and this is a MUST BUY if your little one does not like being in the Buggy or is not happy on the floor while your doing X, Y or Z.
It's called the "Hipseat" by a company called Hippychick that has been around since 1999.
Now this thing is great, we go for walks with both Oskar and Tomas each weekend and Tomas will last in the buggy for all of 20 minutes before he wants to look around and be carried. This used to cause a problem, but no longer, the Hipseat takes the main weight of Tomas and then all you have to do is support his back with your arm so he doesn't fall off!
If you are a parent that carries their baby/toddler this product is a MUST!
I've always found it difficult to take my baby Jennifer out of the house for certain trips. Normally I use the buggy but there are occasions when it's just not practical. A friend a recommended that I tried out a hipseat, which I had never heard of. I bought one and I haven't looked back since.
